Last week, Local 1994 held its officers’ election for the two OPT spots (Montgomery County) that were contested on the Executive Board. We’re proud to announce that Ja Rowe, a member from the Department of Corrections, and Bob Lehman, from the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Department, were re-elected to their positions, earning over 72 percent of the vote. The rest of the officers and executive board were re-elected by acclamation.

Special thanks go to our election judges and to Election Chairman John Smoak for all of their hard work on behalf of the membership in conducting the election.

In addition, thanks go to all the members who took time out of their day to vote. Your participation is what makes the union work.

The Executive Board and Officers are committed to working hard on behalf of the membership.
