🚌 Congratulations to Our Ride-On Bus Rodeo Champion!

Ride-On Bus Rodeo champion Brian Browne

MCGEO members working for Ride On showed off their skill and professionalism at last Saturday’s Annual Ride-On Bus Rodeo, held September 19.

Congratulations to Transit Bus Operator Brian Browne for taking first place in this year’s competition!

Brian’s first-place finish is a great example of the skill, precision and dedication Ride-On operators bring to their jobs every day.

Congratulations, Brian — and thanks to all of our Ride-On members who participated and represented MCGEO at this year’s Bus Rodeo!

🎓 College Is Part of Your UFCW Local 1994 Membership

Whether you’re a caseworker finishing up a degree you started years ago, a bus operator or public safety support staff member exploring a program for the first time, or someone in clerical or administrative work looking to move forward — MCGEO’s new education benefit is built for you and for your family.

Union College Benefit powered by Edvance offers discounted tuition — up to 40% off — at a network of accredited schools, 100% online, in fields like Business Administration, Psychology, Human Services, and Criminal Justice, among others.

There’s no cost to explore, and no commitment required to see what’s available.

A lot of members already have some college credit or an associate degree sitting unused. This benefit is built to help you pick that back up — not start over. And if you’re starting fresh, that works too.

It’s not just for you, either. Your spouse, kids, grandkids, and dependents are eligible as well.

A dedicated Edvance Student Success Coordinator will help you figure out what fits — whether that’s finishing something you started years ago or exploring a program for the first time.
