Local 1994 members working at the Housing Opportunities Commission in Montgomery County have won an extension to their COVID-19 Memorandum of Understanding until October 2 (or when state of emergency is rescinded, whichever comes first). The new agreement continues to mandate telework whenever possible and protects employees who must quarantine or are high risk.
Members who perform front facing or back facing work during the period of June 27 through July 24 should see their differential in the August 7 paycheck. The new differentials are $4.00 per hour for each hour of Front Facing Onsite Work and $1.75 per hour for each hour of Back Office Onsite Work.
The agreement is retroactive to June 27.
