Starting March 9, UFCW members will have access to a new foreign language program that provides even more value than our previous program. The program gives UFCW members access to online classes to learn Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin, and over 70 other different languages, including 20 different ESL courses.
Much like the previous program, members will register through the UFCW website: www.ufcw.org/language. Once the membership office can verify that an applicant is a current member in good standing, they will be able to sign up and start taking classes.
Whether it is for travel, work, or just for fun, the UFCW’s free foreign language program makes learning a new language easy. The online classes build on four conversational skills necessary to fully learn a new language: vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, and culture.
Seats in this program are limited and will be given on a first-come, first-served basis. If a seat sits unused for 90 days, it will be opened up to allow another member to apply.
