Many of our members participate in Local 1994’s ABC (Active Ballot Club) program, the Political Action Committee (PAC) for our Union. Contributions to the ABC give our union a voice and power at the ballot box and the bargaining table. As campaigning for the midterm primary elections in June 2026 gets under way, the hard work of our PAC is just beginning.
UFCW Local 1994 endorses candidates in city, county and statewide races that have an impact on our members and their families. Our endorsements can include any viable candidates, no matter their party, but the main criteria are that a candidate must support policies that support working families. It’s crucial that we get this right.
