On Monday, the Montgomery County Legislative Delegation is holding a hearing on a bill that will be introduced in the state legislature in January that will grant the Housing Opportunities Commission Bargaining Unit the right to BINDING ARBITRATION FOR WAGES. 

 

Binding arbitration allows the union and your employer to reach a settlement in contract negotiations after impasse using an independent third party. It levels the playing field during negotiations between employees and employers.
