Montgomery County Members: 

As promised, your Union wanted to give you an update regarding the $1,000 top-of-grade bonus that some of you should have received but did not receive due to the County arbitrarily and inappropriately interpreting negotiated contract language.

The County’s callous disregard for your money is inexcusable.  With that said, rest assured that your Union is working tirelessly on your behalf to have the County correct its egregious mistake.  The Union has received a verbal promise from the County that this matter will be resolved. 

Your Union understands and appreciates the gravity of this situation and is doing all it can to ensure that it is rectified as quickly as possible.
