We are the cashiers and clerks in your local supermarkets, and we process the hamburgers you eat - along with thousands of other food products - in plants across the country.

Through the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression we have ever seen, UFCW Local 1994 MCGEO has been working tirelessly to defend our pay, pensions, benefits and jobs and to maintain vital services to residents of Montgomery County. This is our fight. We are in this together and we will stand with our union for as long as it takes.
To the County Executive, the County Council, the Washington Post or anyone else who seeks to weaken our union or undermine our solidarity, our message is clear: DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE OUR DETERMINATION OR OUR UNITY. WHEN YOU ATTACK OUR UNION, YOU ATTACK US! AND WE WILL FIGHT BACK.
