Montgomery budget woes loom, but things could change

      2015 Sick Leave Bank

The Sick Leave Bank (SLB) continues to be a great success and will continue as a permanent program for MCGEO members. Once again - the threat of privatization of Montgomery County's Dept. of Liquor Control looms over our heads. At least 500 of our brothers and sisters could lose their solid, middle class jobs if the County makes that move and the County could lose a great deal of revenue generated from the Dept. There's even the possibility that the County could lose its AAA bond rating.
